Design Fail! I can confirm that the toebox is narrower than the previous models. More importantly, the new ankle collar is I truly ridiculous. On top of digging into your Achilles tendon, it provides zero heel stability. This is so disappointing because the previous models (11,12) had the perfect amount of subtle heel stability without digging into your ankle or Achilles tendon ( which is very hard to find, as every athlete knows). Brooks shoes are too narrow in the toe box area color and shoe look nice, toe box is too narrow in the size 13ee. I’ve had other Brooks addictions in the same size and it appears Brooks keeps changing the toe box area. I tried the 13 4 e and it was too big. So until Brooks makes a wider toe box I’m going to switch to New Balance. I’ve been a Brooks addiction & beast customer for years. Both shoes are now too narrow in the toe box .even in the wider sizes. Too bad, they used to make a really nice comfortable shoe for people with wider feet…

WORST BROOKS EVER! Horrible design, materials AND Engineering. I haven’t eeven worn these for 10 minutes and Ll I can say is WORST BROOKS EVER!. Horrible design and engineering. Nasty! What happened Brooks, Did you farm out your design work to unemployed sheep herders in Eastern Europe. What’s with the new cheap materials? The heel cup design is atrocious. If I wanted to have my shoe eat into my Achilles, I would have went to PIcWay and bought a $9 pair of cheap runners. I don’t enjoy how the entire top folds in on itself trying to get these on. Is…
